Megalochori Village
Megalochori is a beautiful traditional village and consists the heart of agriculture production of Santorini. We will walk through the “kadounia”, stone pathways forming a maze, where you can feel the authentic island vibe of the island, away from the tourist masses. There we will spot the “Canaves” traditional wine cellars where the wine is pressed and stored.
Winery Gavalas
Canava Gavalas is a small scale, family run winery where wine production adheres to the centuries long Santorinian tradition. Our gastronomical experience begins with trying several different wines – accompanied with local delicacies.
Anydro Farm
Anydro Farm produces, processes and exports a variety of local organic products, with tomato “caviar” paste being one of the most celebrated Santorinian products among the international food critic society. The farm is a series of traditional caves, located in the virtual undiscovered South East part of the island, accessed by a dirt road, encircled by pumice stone canyons and traditional farmlands
Anydro Cooking Class
We will hand pick local products from the farm and we will offer you a master class in how to prepare some traditional seasonal dishes. During dinner, the producer, Petros Oikonomou will vividly introduce you to waterless farming of cherry tomato, Fava, white eggplant, capers and other.
