This cooking experience is simple, interactive, educational, and most of all tasty. You will learn how to cook traditional, time-honored dishes. Our winemaking philosophy along with a presentation of each label tasted transforms our proposals into precious and unforgettable experiences. We will end at our secret susnet spot watching the famous sunset of Santorini with amazing views.
Cooking lesson at Aroma Avlis
You will learn how to cook traditional, time-honored dishes, like the famed Santorinian fava, tomato fritters, pork fillets with Vinsanto sauce and the exquisite local tomato paste and garlic spaghetti are just some of the authentic tastes you will become acquainted with. In our Cooking Classes you will enjoy preparing and cooking four recipes in a hands-on, interactive course instructed by our chef
Winery Artemis Karamolegos
You will get acquainted with all basic varieties of wine of Santorini, their special aroma, and their unique nuances. We will take you through the life of the local vintner, the vine and the graperive in circular shapes called “kouloura” the harvest, the carrying of the harvest in baskets on donkeys, the grape crushing, the grape must, and the barrels. You will feel the distinguished flavors served with some tapas to highlight the zest.
Indulge in a 4-course wine tasting overlooking the captivating vineyards. Over the next hour you will get to know the winery and learn how wine was produced in Santorini in the past up until now.

We will drive you to a special sunset spot where you can relish the sunset in a unique way.
This cooking experience is simple, interactive, educational and most of all tasty. You will learn how to cook traditional, time-honored dishes, like the famed Santorinian fava, tomato fritters, pork fillets with Vinsanto sauce and the exquisite local tomato paste and garlic spaghetti are just some of the authentic tastes you will become acquainted with. In our Cooking Classes you will enjoy preparing and cooking four recipes in a hands-on, interactive course instructed by our chef. The experience concludes with a meal at Aroma Avlis Food & Wine restaurant where you will enjoy the dishes you cooked, along with a bottle of wine from Artemis Karamolegos Winery. After that we have our winetasting section, winetasting at two different wineries. Our winemaking philosophy along with a presentation of each label tasted transform our proposals into precious and unforgettable experiences. We will end with a magnificent susnet picnic at our secret spot.
